Kyusu is the Japanese word for teapot, but has come to refer specifically to teapots with a single side handle.
Our ceramic kyusu is perfectly suited for brewing single servings of green tea or lighter oolongs. We've even used ours to brew higher fired Wuyi oolongs and black teas. The beautiful grey glazing of the teapot has small hairline crackles that appear white when new, but will deepen in color with use, giving the entire teapot the appearance of antique stone or jade.
Gift-boxed in a satin-lined black box with a copper latch. Available separately is a pair of matching ceramic cups, encased in their own satin-lined gift box.
