About
A tea tray is literally and figuratively the foundation
of formal tea preparation.
It offers a surface for the elaborate steps involved in traditional gong fu cha, allowing tea to be brewed in any room or, with a few of our trays, even outdoors. Reservoirs or outlets in the tray carry tea run-off, keeping the brewing area dry.
They also beautifully demarcate a space in your home for traditional tea making – whether that space is as simple as a small bamboo tray in the corner of your workspace, or a large stone tray as the focal point of the room.
