Called "Qing Shan Lu Shui" meaning "Clear Mountain Green Water" in Chinese, our Kuding Spring Harvest are the young leaves of the wax tree, hand-gathered in Sichuan Province, China.
Kuding or "bitter spike" refers to the mild but, oddly, refreshing bitterness of a tisane steeped with the young leaves. In traditional Chinese medicine, Kuding is thought of as having detoxification properties.

We suggest treating this tea as you would a delicate green. Both the water temperature and steep time is important.
To brew a personal serving of tea, measure out 3.5 grams of leaves, rinse once, and steep the tea in 175 degrees water for up to a minute. Add 30 seconds to each subsequent infusion.
