Over fifty white tea buds enclose an inner red chrysanthemum. Each blossom is then scented over the course of six nights with summer Jasmine. Once steeped in water, the individual buds open to form the petals of an underwater daisy with a red chrysanthemum at its center.
Blossoming teas are sold by weight. Two ounces = 5-8 blossoms. Four ounces = 10-16 blossoms.
BREWING GUIDE
Use a single blossom for a 12 to 16 ounce teapot. Pre-warm the teapot and steep at 205 F until the blossom fully opens. Alternatively, single servings can be brewed in a glass infuser cup, but at a reduced steep time (1 min 30 sec.)
